according to euler's formula ei =cos + i sin and any complex no. z can be wrriten as z=r.ei where r is the modulus. so i can be wrriten as eipi/2 so
ii = ei.ipi/2 =e-1pi/2(i.i=-1)

here's the solution:
bu euler's form;
ei@ = cos@ + isin@
i = e/2
ii = e i/2*i
  =  e-/2

see i know a diff method . just take log of that and solve.
if z=x+iy
then, logz=logIzI + i*ampz
solving this way u get ii is e-pi/2
