a total of 100 sweets has to be distributed among men women and children.
each man gets 10 sweet each women 5 sweets and each children gets 1/2 sweet
then how many men women and children were present ,if their total no is also 100.

Let the number of man be x.
woman be y
child be z
It is given in the question total no of man, woman, child are 100. So x+y+z=100
Given: man get 10 sweets, woman 5 and child 1/2.
10x+5y+z/2=100
eliminating z from eqn 1 and 2, we get
19x+9y=100
x and y must be integers, find the value of x and y by trial and error method, we get x=1 and y=9 therfore z=90.
