Inverse of 3 x 3 matrix.

None

Is there any easy way of finding out the inverse of a 3x3 matrix?
Can anyone suggest me?

I mean any shortcut.
I know to find it by using elementary column and row transformations.

Adjoint of a Square Matrix

Let A be a square matrix of order n and let C_ij ;be cofactor of a_ij in A. Then the transpose of the matrix of cofacturs of elements of A is called the adjoint of A and is denoted by adj A .

Inverse of a Matrix

A no n - singular square matrix of ordere n is invertible if there exists a square matrix B of the same order such that AB = I_n = BA .

A^-1 = B

A^-1 =

adj A .

well i dont know any but sometimes it is easier to try rank method or just solve simultaneuosly. There are less chances of error that way

This is also an ordinary method.
Is there any method which is simple and lucid and the inverse can be found out without much writing.

Then just multiply the options so dat u get I matrix

Hey i hav asked just to check our answer in the state board exams quickly.
(matrix)(inverse)= identity matrix
is also a tedious work.

Ohhhhhhh puhhhleeease if it's state board exam u shud be able to all the problems if u are preparing for iit and solve all questgion so you dont have to worry about such problems

trial and error method the best one
if for boards the use Row transformation wiz better than coloumn transformation
