Let there be atleast one complex number z such that

mod (z-mi) = m+5

mod (m-4) < 3

Then find the possible real values of 'm'

Circle : |z-mi| = m+5,  centre = (0,m) and radius = m+5 >= 0

 

=>  m >= -5...........(1)

 

Given : |m-4| < 3    =>    -3 < m-4 < 3

 

1 < m < 7................(2)

 

from (1) amd (2) : 1 < m < 7
