Hai, a small question for u.
NOTE:Please read the qustion properly .the boxes diagram is in the attached image file.
Question 1
Place the numbers 1 to 9 in the spaces below so that the total in each row or column is 13.The exception is that you will establish the result through an algebraic argument rather than by trail and error i.e. Prove that there are 8 and only 8 combinations.

i present u with a similar analogy

in this case u can replace position of 1 and any other number except 5 to get the same thing in 8 ways..
and so is the case with ur ques..

Can anyone solve this with some working please. I'm totally stuck.I've tried a lot.... and arpan1 sorry bro i couldn't find any solution in that way. Thanx for your help though.
