Remember Cedric. Remember, if the time should come when you have to make a choice between what is right and what is easy, remember what happened to a boy who was good, and kind, and brave, because he strayed across the path of Lord Voldemort. Remember Cedric Diggory.

it's a ques on conditional prob let event A be defined as choosing a girl from the given students let event B be defined as choosing a student of twelfth standard
now we have to find prob of (B given A) dentoted as P(B/A) = P(A intersection B)/P(A) = 43/430 = 1/10

Given that the student is a girl then total persons that can be chosen = 430 out of that, 10% are in 12th.. so probability of getting a girl from 12th standard = 10% = 10/100 = 1/10

yes p(A intersection B) will be probabilty of choosing a girl who is in 12th standard.. where A is event of choosing a girl and B is event of choosing a person from 12th standard. now given that 10% of girls are from 12th.. and 430 girls are the total number so girls in 12th are 43 (10% of 430)

total no. of girls = 430 no. of students studying in 12th = 10% = 43 probability of selecting a 12th class girl = no. of girls in 12th / tot. no. of girls = 43/430 ans= 1/10 rate if useful
