One Indian and four American men and their wives are to be seated randomly around a circular table. Then the conditional probability that the Indian man is seated adjacent to his wife given that each American man is seated adjacent to his wife is ????????

Considering American man and his wife as a group we have 4 gps
Let the Indian man sit wherever he wishes
Now his wife has got 5 places to go to (bcos there are 4 gps)
Out of these on two occassions she happens to be next to her husband (Once to his left and another time to his right)

Thus the answer is 2/5
