1st 4 questions are +3,-1.
5th question +5,-4.
here it is:
1. if the integers m and n ( m may be equal to n) are chosen at random b/w 1 and 100 (including them) then what is the probability that the number of the form 7^m + 7^n is divisible by 5?
2. 9 cards are drawn at random from a set of cards marked either 1,0 and -1.It is equally likely that any of the three numbers may be drawn. then what is the probabiltiy that the sum of the numbers drawn is zero?
3. 20 students have been seated along a long table, 10 on each side. 8 students are selected at random.then what is the probability that 4 students belong to one side and 4 to the other side but no two of them are adjacent to each other?
4. 'A' draws 2 cards at random from a pack of 52 cards. After returning them to the pack and shuffling it, 'B' draws two cards at random.what is the probability that their draws contain exactly one common card.
5. 6 couples have been seated along a long table, males on one side and females on the other.
a. the probability that the birthdays of 6 males fall in exactly one calender month is 1/ 12^6
b. the probability that the birthdays of 6 males fall in exactly three calender months is 9900/ 12^6
c. if 4 persons are selected at random then the probability that 2 of them are male is 5/11
d. if 4 persons are selected at random then the probability that there is exactly one male and no two selected females are adjacent to each other is 17/165.
