find all values of  'a'  for which 4^x - a2^x - a +3 = 0 has atleast one solution.

4x-2xa -a +3=0
let 2^x=y
y^2 -ay - a +3= 0
for this to have atleast one solution
a^2-4(-a+3)>=0
therefore
 (a-2)(a+6)>=0
therefore a(2,)U(-6,-)
