If the function _{[ 0]}^{[ x]} f(t)dt->5 as |x|->1, than the value of a so that the equation 2x+ _{[ 0]}^{[ x]}f(t)dt=a has at least 2 root of opposite signs in (-1,+1) is

NOT a SOLN , Just an observation :::::

Let's take the integral = x^2 + 4 ( satisfies the given condition )

So the given eqn becomes

x^2 + 2x + 4 - a = 0

or, ( x + 1 ) ^2 = a-3

So to have atleast real roots , we must have a>=3

So the ans seems to be wrong !!!!!!!
