I'll start .....Answers must be with explanations or no rates.... & questions must not be IIT level ..Please number your questions ...& please do not scoff if the question is too simple, that is generally how it is in non-IIT examinations . . . Here goes:

Q1. The locus of a point that moves such that the difference of its distance from two fixed points remains const is:

a) Circle b) Ellipse

b) Hyperbola d) Parabola

Q2. The const in the previous question is equal to :

a) 2b b) 2b²/a²

c) 2a d) 4a

1st one ...... b) dats another definition of a hyperbola ...... difference of distance from focii remains const ...
