her P(x=r) = nCr p^(n-r) [1-p]^r even 4 P(x=n-r) hence by solving v wud get
[ p/(1-p)] ^n-2r =given hence as it was said dis is independent so p/(1-p) must b equal 2 1 [1 is indepemdent of any power] hence p=1-p so p=1/2
