In a battle 70% of the combatants lost one eye, 80% an ear, 75% an arm, 85% a leg, x% lost all the four limbs. The minimum value of x is?

so

atmost 15% can lose both

75% lost one arm atmost 25% can lose both

of 25 and 15 15is less

so at most 15% can lose all four

Dear aditya.thakar,

From the given data you can see that eye atmost has HCF(70,80,75) and HCF(70,75,85) and HCF(70,75,85) = 5 common with all three other parts.

So it is clear atmost 5*3=15% parts may be common.

pink_ele has done correctly up to this point.

Less these values

Eyes=55, ears=65 , arms=60 and Legs=70

Now you can see that eye has atmost HCF(55,65) , HCF( 55,60) and HCF(55,70) = 5 may be common any other part.

Now 15% is common in all which also contribute 5% common in any two so less this value from 15.

and you will get only common all four 15-5 =10
