If an is the digit at units place of the number 1!+2!+3!????.n!, then a1 +a2 + a3 +????..a13 is equal to a)10 b)25 c)33 d)none

Hi Amit,
The answer is (D)
1!=1, 2!=2, 3!=6, 4!=24, 5!=120,....
a1=1, a2=3, a3=9, a4= 3, a5=3
a6=a7=a8...=3.
Thus,
a1 +a2 + a3 +...a13 =1+3+9+10(3) =13+30 =43 (D)

i think there is something wrong ex-a4is not 4 it is init place in 1!+2!+3!+4!=1+2+6+24=33 i.e. unit place digit is 3. keep trying.

actually i myself dont know the answer. It is from tommorrows test taken at my coaching. I am getting answer 39 such a1 +a2 + a3 +????..a13 = 1+2+6+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3=39

hey i killed this easily....
1!+2!+3!????.n!, = 1 + 2 + 6 + 24 + 120 + 720 +.......................
=> reqd sum = 1 + (1+2) + (1+2+6) + (3) + 6 + 6 + 6(7 times) .............
=1 + 3 + 9 + 3 + ......i m talking about the unit's digit..
= .........
i have done in a bit hurry.. do check.. concept is right !
