This is part of a chemistry problem, but i only want d mathematic(its of ionic equil)
The equation is
(x+10^-7)x =10^-14
Can som1 solve the equation showing the steps? plz. Thanks
+ 10^-7 x - 10^-14 = 0
Using the quadratic formula, x = [- 10^-7 + sqrt(5*10^-14)] / 2 = 10^-7(root5 - 1) / 2
I have ignored the possibility of the other root which came out to be negative.
use quadratic formula !!!!!!
shubhat is right
Thanks guys, I had used dat formula, but made a stupid subtraction mistake!
Neway, thanks
