PROBABILITIES
2 friends agree to meet in the Town square between 1:00pm and 1:30 pm they agree that they will wait for 5mins after arriving.If the other person does not arrive during that 5 minutes the 1st person will leave. What is the probability that they meet?

well the way to do this is the time gap is 30 min..it can be divided into 6--,,5 min slots....thus the other frnd must come within these 5min slots....wait the answer is wrong........ill try........

the no of ways the ecomd frnd can arrive not within 5 min is 5/6 as five out of 6 slots he can come and tey dont meet...so if they have to meet the prob is 1/6 correct???
