First problem:

x2 + 4y2 + 5 = 4z

x-y >or= z

Second problem:

x + (1/y) = 1

xy2 + (1/x2y) = 1 + (y/x)

How to solve the above two problems?

For the first one substitute the value of z in the first equation.. It'll represent an area on the x, y plane and the solid corresponding to in 3-d space..
