are there any tricks or shortcuts or time saving techniques for maths(algebra) for MCQ (objective) based exams coz i heard this from few of my friends.if so plz can ne 1 share with me?.

if there is a generic expression, you can always substitute legal values And note that it shd be legal :) for example in an integration sum, u cant substitute values as ur limits, for a fn sum, you can again substitute values to find it, for a combinatorics sum, substitute values for n or no of things, etc.

yeh substitute any values which suites d given conditions & 4 equations in any p or q values take anoder equation which has a perfect root & also roots shud b integer

thnx mate , but what i m really trying to know is whether there are any shortcuts, like say any method by which i can approx. the correct answer of a definite integration out of other options, without having to go by conventional(long) method of solving it
