can ne 1 give me some tricks or short-cut methods for solving these types of question in objective type exams without using conventional methods

if x is real max value of

(3x2+9x+17)/(3x2+9x+7)

see , when rational functions r given . and asked u to find the max value , the function will be max if the denominator is min.and similarly vice-versa.so for the given expression find the min value of the denominator
