Let Z=ii and taking log to the base e on both sides,then log(z)=ilog(i) =i.iPi/2=-pi/2 (Since i=eipi/2) z=e-pi/2

Logarithm is defined for complex nos. also. if z=x+iy log(z)= log |z| + i tan-1(y/x)

U are right nadeemoidu.
In the real field Logarithm domain is (0,infinity).
In the complex field domain of logarithm is C (Set of complex nos.)
