WERE RMO 2010 QUESTIONS LEAKED?

ARE RMO QUESTIONS LEAKED???

Most of you would be knowing about RMO (regional mathematical olympiad). It is one of the most prestigious competitions in India. But looks like this year's questions were leaked before the exam.

I too appeared for RMO yesterday.......But the date thr is 3....?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????!!!!!

it is not shocking..and rmo questions are not leaked...its just that the particular rmo question was virtually copied(this happens..)fom some maths book..and this particular guy happened to solve this question bforehand...doesnt mean dey are leaked...i personally never gave rmo..but i did have the painful experience in going through most of rmo papers thanks to the prodding of my peer group.......(i was never gud in maths:p)...and i must say i found a great deal of similarity between rmo inequality questions..and those given in CHALLENEGE AND THRILL OF P-C MATHS..that doent mean they wer leaked..

LOLZ ... the date and time shown in AOPS site is NOT indian time .. hence the discrepancy :)

How were your papers? And how many were you able to solve?

I was able to solve only 4 questions correctly.

the time (in utc) even when converted to IST is earlier to 5 dec 2010 1:00 pm. So the questions in RMO are leaked or are from some book. i couldnot find those questions in CHALLENEGE AND THRILL OF P-C MATHS. it is google books. then tell terminator returns from which book are these questions if not leaked

@AIR 538 Asish: Look carefully man, even if you take different timezones, there is no place on earth which would give a 2 DAY discrepancy.

@terminator returns: ALL of the questions are posted by the same guy/girl. Does this mean that ALL the questions are from the same book?

I think there's something rotten in this.
