If the limiting values are zero and infinity then the limiting value of their product is in indeterminate form. It can be a real number or doesn't exist. Its value can be found out by doing operations on the expressions which are getting multiplied.

y = 0 * ∞
y=(c/∞)*∞
where c is a real number
now we get
y=c
So, zero times infinity is an undefined real number. This is the definition of undefined. Therefore, zero times infinity is undefined.
