find the point on x axis equidistant from (7,6) and (-3,4)

 assume any point on x axis say (x,0)........

this point is equidistant from given points that means............((x-7)(square)+(0-6)(square))root=((x+3)(square)+(0-4)(square))root

on solving....x(square)+49-14x+36=x(sq)+9+6x+16.........

equating,,,,,,,85-25=20x

60=20x

x=3........so (3,0) is the requiredpoint..............
