In the concept of finding whether two given points P(x1,y1) and Q(x2,y2) are on the same side of a given line or on the opposite sides... I read a statement the co ordinates of R which divide the line joining P and Q in the ratio m:n are m/n = -(ax1+by1 +c)/(ax2+by2+c) .... cudnt undrstnd statmnt
