Who said that talking was an activity for the idle and was always compared to synonyms like chit-chatting and blabbering? It was an added feature in the list of wasting time and almost always resulted in nothing. In ancient times it was a source of communication and with the evolution of mankind; it rephrased itself and was used in many other forms.
Female species are considered a master of such soft skills (pun intended) but since it has been denied and proven wrong long ago so we need not to discuss this anymore. The main topic of debate is “Is talking always a nonconsiderable hobby” or does it have some use too?
The answer to so many raising doubts and eyebrows is YES. This, so called hobby of a few human species has benefits which are enlisted here.
Talking and speaking eloquently on a bigger platform lends many intelligent ears and is helpful in voicing one’s opinion. Many eloquent speakers pursue this as a passion at school and college level and bring laurels for themselves and for the institutions they are in. These are the skills which are noted and considered in many areas and lead to recognition for some.
There are many examples of eminent personalities who, with their strength of words have moved people’s thoughts and imaginations. Talking sense also helps in developing a sound and aware personality and is a profile feature of an alert human being. Moreover a voluble speaker is admired by one and all. So get going but in sense.
