for any cross the easy formula to find out no of gametes is 2**n(2 to the power n) where n represent no of heterozygous states.for example let us consider dihybrid cross.in that F1 generation is YyRr.so the no of heterozygous states are 2.according to the formula no of gametes formed are2**2=4.for your understanding let us consider YYRr.in this no of heterozygous state is only 1.so no of gemetes formed are2**1=2
