ANS is 4 bcoz the spores in ferns (pteridophytes) are formed after Meiosis in which no.of chromosomes reduced to half after division

Question on my id and actual question is different  but anyway the enzyme used in reducing tension is topoisomerse  

The chromosome in fern embryo will be 4
