operator gene(fn)--> produce messenger RNA (mRNA), in the process of transcription........structural gene(fn)-->makes proteins in the cell....whereas..promoter gene(fn)-->facilitates the transcription of a particular gene

Structural gene: protien synthesis with the help of mRNA

promoter gene: binding of RNA polymerase which facilitates transcription of gene

operator gene: controls the structural gene by binding regulatory protein to it
