Secondary cells

None

Secondary cells can't divide because :

a.they lose the ability to divide

b.they do not have nucleus

c.they undergo certain irreversible changes during differentiation

d.all of the above

i guess answer is a....

i have eliminated out actually...

b cant be the answer.. coz there are some differentiated cells with nucleus.. eg parenchyma, collenchyma, or neurons....

c cant be the answer too.. coz we have learnt about dedifferentiation....in secondary growth in dicots....it means that the process isnt exactly irreversible..

i dont know the exact reason behind it...

ans is a).they lose the ability to divide
c) cant b the ans as there are some cells which have the ability of breaking their Quiscent phase and reenter the Dividing cycle..

ANS is A bcoz cells are of 3 types differentiated ,undifferentiated, & dedifferentiated.most of the body cells are differentiated means a specific work is assigned to them & now they lost the power of division
