i think resonance material and test series are good. RSM(rankers study material) of fiitjee is good but the test series is worse. many people run behind fiitjee AITS(all india test series) but trust me i took it & the paper was not upto jee standards. i mean the questions were not precisely made for jee they where harder and also question papers are mostly biased when u take full test as in some papers they would eliminate many imp. and big topics from their papers unlike in jee where the paper is almost evenly distributed among whole syllabus. resonance test papers however are quite balanced as of jee. But overall i would recommend u to buy resonance material and test series. *u can easily arrange fiitjee test papers for 2nd hand (if available in ur city) for further practice.

Many say that FIITJEE Rsm lacks in theory,is it so...

yes it lacks in theory if u compare to resonance but in reso. also not every explanation and derivation is given so u would definitely need some reference books.
