I am losing confidence in cracking jee...Plz guide me wat to do..

1) should i try try and try ans slog on the same sum

Relax that happnes it's not new ...... But keep doing practice and specially in mechanics there is a technique ................http://www.goiit.com/posts/list/community-shelf-problem-solving-tips-for-iitjee-mechanics-it-916838.htm.............visit here for them and my only technique i use while solving problems is that i imagine whatever phenomena is given in the problem is happening in front of me and then i come to the point from where i can tell anything about the phenomena ...... U also try it ...... And dont go for solutions until you dont get the answer ..... That is good because you are losing confidence ...... Keep trying and another important thing is that you should be sure that you are good at maths because there is a lot use of mathematics in problems like calculus , trigonometry , etc...... So work hard and dont be worried because worries are not the solutions of any problem ......... Best of luck ......

See this is your building stage, it may happen that your brain is not matured enough to solve any kind of problem that comes in your way. It will take time to develop such skills. Even in my days in class 11th I really struggled hard but couldn't solve the problems as compared to my batchmates but I kept working and I found myself improvising day-by-day and it was in 12th that the right approaches started flowing to my brain quicker than the past. So I would recommend you to stick by the first of your points "try, try and try".I generally gave around half an hour for the problems which I weren't able to solve. Even if after that you couldn't find the solution, mark that question red and ask someone. This approach makes you a deep thinker, increases the turbulence of the fluid of the brain and enhances your skills. In due course of time you'll start solving tougher problems and that too with a good speed.

hey jesh thanks for helping me now ur solnas my condition is same like ur i am also seeking help from othersand i think i have got the soln after a long timesee this problem can be tackled by following this linekaram karta jaa ,fal ki chinta mamt karjust go on solving problemssupppose u are not able to solve 1st 100 problems but by gaining some exposure or experence ur capability of solving problems will increase very slowlybut as the time passes u will be in a much better place to solve problemsdont get disheartened if u cant solve a silly prooblems after solving 100 simple problems the confidence u gain will help u atleast attempt a tough problemso the conclusion is that just practice practice and practice

DC pandey is a bit tougher u will enjoy that book when u r good with HCVerma , so first concentrate on hc., question urself while reading theory n star mark the problems u r not getting n get them cleared through teachers or frnds , DON`T touch solutions book unless u try the problem atleast for 3 sittings , I`m telling this through my self experience .............n stay cool u r just in ur learning stage .

first of all, dont be tensed, dont panic, even i am weak in physics, but when i asked my professors how to strenghten my concepts in physics, they told me to do hcv thoroughly, and yes,hcv has worked for me,its indeed a gr8 buk,but i can suggest u a strategy which i follow and may work for u,first read the theory from hcv and its solved egs, then read theory from dcp and its solved examples, and then read resnick,u may feel that i am telling u to read too much theory, but dont worry,u wont get confused, bcoz hcv is for basics and concepts, resnick is for examples from daily life, dcp is problem oriented, thus they are designed for diff purposes, after this, try sums from hcv and trust me u wud be able to solve 80% of the questns urself, common,u can do it,all the best.

Well, first of all, don't stress out on this....the more tension you'll take, the lesser you'll be able to deal with the thing. If you can't solve any of the problems, try giving it a reasonable amount of time. If it still doesn't make any sense, then mark it, and return to it later.

Remember, it's the best spirit to want to solve the questions on your own. If you get the solution yourself, it'll stick for a long, long time.

But it wouldn't hurt to refer to the given solution. In most cases, you can apply the concept to solve other sums which may have a slight resemblance to the question you couldn't solve.

Rather than getting frustrated about not being able to solve the sums, try gaining some new ideas about each question. Your approach is the best, trying to solve it on your own, but there is no harm in referring to the solutions.

You'll only get better and better. Rome was not built in a day....we understand. Physics creates problems for most students even after a year, and  we DO understand!
