Well if you are self-motivated and I hope you are, I would suggest that you begin by improving your skills in algebra (such as solving equations in one variable, two variables, algebraic identities, quadratic equations and so on). Learn the fundamentals thoroughly and then move on to improving your problem solving skills.
You can start with textbooks of higher classes. Later on, move to Higher Algebra by Hall and Knight and if possible get somone to teach selected chapters to you. After you have a good handle on some of these topics you can start learning other topics like Trigonometry and Coordinate Geometry
For problem solving skills, I cannot suggest a better resource than www.mathlinks.ro. You can match yourself against the best in the world and learn a lot of fun things in the process.
However, while doing this do not neglect the fun things in life, friends, games, outings and all that.
Work Hard, Play Hard!
