Mumbaikars.....please answer. Which is the best coaching inst. for IIT-JEE in Mummbai for repeatres/droppers......? RAtes, kudos et al u willb get.....

Even Though I am not a Mumbai living person,I think that IITian's pace is good.

i was going to vidyalankar and found it very good.(though i could manage only in extended merit list).My many firends went to pace and they found it very good as well(they have cleared iit). Vidyarthi academy is also good.But i would rate vidyalankar above all coz it gives material for 12th boards n also takes test for the same .Also it gives practice testsand material for aieee ,mht cet and bitsat too.(for bitsat only home based).thus overall i can give it a 7/10.Whereas pace and vidyarthi teach only and give practice only for iit jee.I will give them a 6.85/10.But it is my personal view that coaching institute only contribute to 10 % of ur success in jee.Actually it is how much u can get out of ur coaching institute whih matters.Every coaching institue will have have some good and some not so good professors.U cant expect all to be brilliant.Its ur dertermination,dedication n devotion which actually matters.Considering this i would recommend u to join a decent institute which is nearby to ur place.Coz its how many hours u put in self study which will finally count..(rather than spending time in travelling).
These views r mine personal and i feel would be useful for those who have complted their 10th n planning to join some institute.

Pace had the best result this year from mumbai in jee 2009.
Even many droppers did well.
