On comparing the above two equations we get tha
the right side of both equations are equal
So the left sides will also be equal
So

We know that if bases are same powers must be equal
In above two equations the base have the same equation of 1
So there powers must be equal
So 1=100

This is a rare exception to 'bases are same,powers must be same' rule.It is like that for 0 also
