Week 22 to Week 25[first half]:    March 1 to March 25:

1.       Boards going on

2.       Concentrate on NCERT questions

3.       If you find time, keep doing questions for IIT JEE

4.       If you have followed this schedule properly & strictly, you should know most of the theory.

5.       But once go through it again & practice by writing

Week 25[second half] to Week 27[First half]:   March 26 to 9 April

1.       Keep doing questions in large quantities

2.       By now you should be able to do most IIT level Questions

3.       Take your own Mock Tests at home under strict Exam-Like conditions

10 April: 1 Day to go

1.       DO NOT STUDY on this day

2.       Remember that 6 months of hard work won’t be washed out from your mind by not studying for 1 day

3.       Keep yourself relaxed

4.       Do not get involved in any accident which might prevent you form appearing in the Exam

5.       Do not eat anything which might land you in a health problem just before the exam

6.       Simple dal-roti would be best

7.       Do not overeat

8.       Sleep early so that you get 8-9 hours of sleep before the Big Day

9.       Do not get tensed about the exam, as I said before, 6 months of preparation won’t get washed away so easily

If all goes well, we’ll meet each other at an Indian Institute of Technology

Now some choti-choti magar moti baatein…..

1.       There is a general scheme followed in terms of syllabus covered per week

2.       For Physics, it is around 40-45 pages[of HC Verma] covered per week

3.       For Maths, it is about 45-55 pages[ of TMH] per week

4.       For Organic Chemistry, it is 90-110 pages[ of Arihant] covered per week

5.       For Physical Chemistry also it is 90-110 pages[ of RC Mukerjee] covered per week

6.       Now as far as Inorganic chemistry is concerned, I do not have any fixed scheme

7.       But I have tried to divide it in uniform sections.

8.       But if you need to make any necessary changes, suitable to the books you own, you are free to make them and follow your own version of this schedule

9.       One VERY VERY important thing: Keep a copy of the IIT JEE syllabus at hand and keep crossing out the topics you have covered

10.   This way you will come to know if any topic is left or not

11.   When you have your pre-boards or any other such exam going on, keep your focus and maintain this schedule,

12.    because it is planned to benefit you in the long run, though not in pre-boards or any such exam

13.   Remember that we are aiming for the big fish, i.e. IIT-JEE[and boards too], not the small ones

14.   Try to maintain the schedule properly, because if it breaks, you will have to replan all over again keeping in mind the time left

I spent 3 days planning this schedule, & this not my first time I have planned such a thing.

I did similar planning of 1 month for my 11th class final exams, but I couldn’t follow it for more than 3 days

This time I want to correct that mistake, and involve you too in it, this is why for the first time I made my schedule public, on goiit

So let’s pledge altogether to work hard, and strive for our common goal of clearing IIT-JEE

This plan starts from day after tomorrow, Monday, i.e. 5 October,

So get yourself prepared for the adventurous battle ahead for half a year

Study in 5-6 shifts of 2-3 hours each, with 15 minutes break to keep energy levels high

If possible try not to go to school, as self study is the best form of study.

One very important thing

No doubt that you might be feeling very motivated right now, but it is highly probable that you and I lose our motivation,

And get distracted to other things while following this schedule.

Keeping the high levels of energy, motivation and temperament required for such a plan like this WILL be very difficult

So I have a plan, which might help in this situation,

I want all of you who follow this plan to log on to goiit regularly [preferably before sleeping, but do not sit on PC for more than ½ hour]

, and keep motivating each other, talk about any problem, academic or non-academic,

We will help each other,

this way all of us will be benefited

Talk about what you want to talk, and keep posting you progress in IIT JEE preparation

Please, do log on to goiit regularly, it will help us all

Remember to exercise daily, practice yoga, meditate regularly

Best of luck to all of us

I will be posting any important points that I missed or any changes that need to be made in this schedule

Do post your comments

PS: I am sorry for posting this article late, I had planned to post it on Saturday i.e. 3 Oct, but my internet connection was down

good try dude.. but if u don mind can i suggest one thing... u dont need to cover full syllabus and study all chaps... ur weekly plan is practically diff.. so studying few chps thoroughly is enuf.. wat i did is analysed the last 4 year papers and marked imp chaps means which will have more weightage... and after 1/2 month of jan give imp for revision and mock tests.. just dont stress ur self more... try to study min of 60% of syllabus and try to revise and test urself again and again..correct ur mistakes and give exam with full confidence
