2)Schweitzer's reagent = [Cu (NH3)4] SO4
3)Tollen's reagent = ammonical sol. of AgNO3 [ aG (NH3)2]OH
4)Nesseler's reagent = Alk. sol. of K2HgI4
5)Fehling's sol. = CuSO4 solution
6)Benedict's solution = CuSO4 sol. + sodium citerate + Na2CO3
7)Luca's reagent = HCl +ahyd. ZnCl2
8)Fenton's reagent = FeSO4 + H2O2
9)Etard's reagent = CrO2Cl2
10)Barfoed's reagent = Cu (CH3COO)2 + CH3COOH
11)Milon's reagent = sol. of mercuric and mercurous nitrate
some imp. catalysts involving transition metals
1) Zeigler natta catalyst = TiCl4 +(C2H5)Al
2)Lindlar's catalyst = Pd / BaSO4
3)Wilkinson's catalyst = [Ph3P]RhCl
4) Adam's catalyst = pT / PtO
5)Brown's catalyst = nickel boride
Green vitriol = FeSO4. 7H20
blue vitriol = CuSO4 . 5H20
White vitriol = ZnSO4 . 7H20

Lunar caustic = AgNO3
Pyrolusite = MnO2
Corrosive sublimate = Hg2Cl2
Fulminating god = (NH2 - Au = NH) used as explosive
Rouge = Fe2O3
sceele's green = Cu3 (AsO3)2
LITHOPONE = BaSO4 + ZnS
