My previous article was Higher IITJEE cutoff- a Hiccup for budding aspirants. That article just gave an insight into the last cutoff's and it wasn’t so elaborate. Many of them in the forums, mails are asking about how to prepare for IITJEE 2012 in these 6 months. Here I present you the perfect plan to crack IIT entrance 2012 in 6 months.

Which TextBooks to be studied?
The NCERT books below are general suggestions by IITians. But if you think the book is not suiting your need of IITJEE examination, then feel free to change it. But the most recommended for IIT 2012 preparation are these
Physics:
NCERT Physics
HC Verma (That’s the best book available for physics)
Arihant by DC Pandey
Chemistry:
NCERT (Don't miss this one to crack IIT entrance 2012)
Physical - P Bahadur
Organic -Arihant
Inorganic - P.Bahadur/OP Tandon
Besides this, make sure that you go through your coaching institute material (prefer Brilliant tutorials JEE Study Material). For final revision opt for YG File (if u have), last year IIT problems or Arihant new pattern. Then take test series (take Brilliant Tutorials not FIIT JEE since it is beyond JEE level and de-motivates you)
Mathematics:
ML Khanna or RD Sharma
(Many people think ML Khanna consumes lot of time but if you take my word, it clears the basics and also is a key to solve different kinds of problems. But don’t look at solutions before giving a try. Even RD Sharma works, but my first preference would be ML Khanna.)
Coaching maths questions
Arihant series in Maths
if time permits do go out for TMH Mathematics for IIT 2012 entrance preparation. Also see reputed author JEE Textbooks to study .
A Readymade Plan for all...

March:
As soon as your exams get over, collect all the test papers (your institute’s) and last year IITJEE preparation problems of above chapters and get started.
April:
Revise your notes and don’t read anything new. Don’t read anything 4 days before the D day. Be confident and cool.
For 12th Pass:
Read thermodynamics, Mechanics, Vectors &3D Geometry, Differential Equations, Solutions, Carbohydrates in February and March.
But I suggest trying questions on the chapters you know other than studying new chapters for IITJEE 2012.
This plan for IIT 2012 entrance preparation is very much achievable if you study hard with dedication and determination.
After all a six months friendship with your books is worth a prosperous life. Isn't is so ?
