a trick to calculate square of any number orally...
u can calculate the square of any number dis trick which is based on d following formula-

ohkk....so d trick is...
let say we have to find the square of 11(m taking a simple example first)..
1.v find the nearest multiple of 10 to dat no.....like fr 11 it is 10...for 19 it is 20 and so on........
2.now find the difference bw dat multiple of 10 and dat no...and add dat difference to d no of which we have to find d square...ie for 11....
difference bw 10 nd 11 is 1..v add 1 to 11=12..
3.now multiply d new no which v got by adding d difference(12) with dat nearest multiple of 10 which v found at first step..
ie 12x10=120
4.now add the square of difference to it...
therefore our answer is 120+1=121
some egs are given below-
1.sq of 23=(23+3)x20+9=529
2.sq of 31=(31+1)x30+1=961
3.sq of 44=48x40+16=1936
******if u have to find square of any no which is bw 25-30 or 35-40 or 45-50 or 55-60 nd so on...
second step will be changed....we will subtract the difference...not add.....
egs-
1.sq of 29=(29-1)x30+1=841
2.sq of 36=32x40+16=1296
i hope i helped u......pls let me knw dat were u able to get this trick or not.....i can help u again....!!!
