Can we really follow nuclear reaction????

Chemistry , , academic

I read in the ncert text book that if we try we cld convert one metal into another by eliminating or fusing electrons protons neutrons or any antiparticles.......

But can any one on the earth tell me how can we do so????

Ncert is a sort of simple book not a incorrect book so u have not explained it still
