confusing question
Wheres dat 1 rupee?
Where is that one Rupee ???
try this riddle
Three friends went to a hotel.
The bill was Rs 75/-
Each one contributed Rs.25/-.
The waiter took the bill to the
Cashier.
The cashier was happy & decided
To give them a discount of Rs.5/- & asked the waiter to return
them
Rs.5/-.
Now the waiter was confused.
How to distribute Rs 5 among 3 persons?
He kept Rs 2 in his pocket &
Gave one rupee to each one of the 3 persons.
So initially each one had contributed
Rs.25. Now as they are given 1 rupee back, their contribution
reduces
to
Rs 24.
They all contributed Rs 24 --
That is 24x3=72 & 2 rupees are in the waiters pocket.
The total becomes 74. But they
Had paid Rs 75.
Where is the remaining 1 rupee?????????

Initial sum is Rs. 75 . After decreasing money taken by the waiter it becomes 75-2+73 . And also decreasing money returned to the friends it is now 73-3=70 . But according to your frame of reference there is a difference . So i m also waiting for the answers ..

they paid 75 whereas they had to pay 70.the waiter had remainin 5 .he kept 2 and distributed the 3.thus the consumer were cheated.as actually they had t pay around 23.33 each but now they coz of wiaters cheatin they paid 24each.the arument of sayin that 24*3=72 is wron as the riht is (23.333+1)*3=73 and the 2 rupees with the waiter iven a total of 75.plzz correct me if i m wron

the 1 rupee did not go anywhere .............the customers in all paid Rs73 out of which 70 is wid da manager n 2 is wid da waiter........the unnecessary confusion is caused by addin the Rs2 wid da waiter wid Rs73

its very easy..............after cashier returns 5 rs then among 4 people (including waiter)thes 5 rs can be dived as 1.25 each but that clever waiter gives 1 rs each to 3 frnds and keeps 2 with himself so that extra 1 rs is with him only (.25 x3=.75 + .25 (his own) =1) ...........its like sharing and dividing problem its same one like u get 1o rs and have to divide amon 3 people ............... aditya u r wrong in ur frame coz u have not divided money equally dude!!!!!!!!! (if u get 3 ice cream how can u keep 2 and give 1 to ur frnd when u have to divide equally..........)
