Hi friends, I thought that you all must know an easy way to find powers of (x+1) and similar terms. This method is known as Pascals Triangle

It works in this way..........

 

                       1                                           

                  1        1

             1        2       1                 (x+1)^2      i.e  x^2+2x+1

         1        3       3         1          (x+1)^3      i.e  x^3+3x^2+3x+1

      1      4        6        4       1      (x+1)^4     i.e  x^4+4x^3+6x^2+4x+1.

  1      5     10      10        5     1    (x+1)^5     i.e   x^5+5x^4+10x^3+10x^2+5x+1

 

and so on..........

Just put the power of x in decreasing order of their powers and put + sign between them.

and further you can find the powers of such terms.
