WOW. Gr8 news.
13+8=21 (+1 becoz BHU is also gonna be upgraded to IIT) = 22
So, 22 IITs in the country?? :O
I think NIT wud be a better choice then(''only'' 20 NITs) ;) |

I didnt read the whole article.
Its 7+8=15 (+1 BHU) = 16.
So, IITs are still better than NITs. ;) |

i dont think an iit exclusively for girls will come up considering the current composition of women in the parliament such a proposal will surely be turned down!!!!!!
also new nits have been proposed!!!!! |

Last yr ranks were given till 7.5K, this yr till 8.5K. Now 8 more IITs, seats will be increased in those IITs. Few yrs down the lane, the condition wud be like this -
Uncle : Beta, what's ur JEE result?
Student : Uncle, My JEE rank is 1.5 Lac.
Uncle : Ohh, R U getting something?
Student : Ya. :) I am getting CSE in one of those IITs. :D :D
