hi there all ...

this is especially for those who are due to appear in the bitsat ... and are biting their nails off abt the paper ...
so being a responsible goiitian , i thought it wud be my duty to help u all .
i gave my bitsat today .. morning batch .
so i wud be posting the experiences during the paper ..
i hpe it wud be useful for u all

ps  : in the end those who are moe bothered abt the marks .... i habe posted them n the end ...

first of all the general level of the paper ...
as far as i was concerned ....i found the paper to be much tougher than this years aieee...... especially the maths section was very time consuming .. and sometimes irritating as well...
but on the whole ... it was jus lik one cud have expected a bitsat paper to be like ...

 

the english and the logical paper were pretty easy .... so no need to panic over what might come ...
the chemistry paper which i was dreading to be tough wass also pretty straight forward ....surprisingly ... as in my case there was no weird thing ...
most of the portion was inorganic ... with a little bit of physical and organic was very less ... but there were as far as i rem 3 questions or perhaps 4 on stereochem... al on very basic stuff r s an all...
the physics section was balanced ...
but the maths part was a bit confusing..

now some questins...

see the most important thing is that one shud maintain ones calm ... THAT IS VERRRRY IMPORTANT .... when the paper contained slightly tricky questions ... there were also those kinds were no. were literally thrown to us to be taken ..... like there were 2 questions on rydbergs constant , one which asked the packing eff of fcc lattice , then one which asked the majority carriers in a p-type semiconductor , and another which had given the moi and the angular velocity and asked he angular momentum !
then there were questions on chem kinetics ... basic .. and thermodynmics... refrigerator .... one to calculate the mole fraction... one on ph ... simple again ... one on buffer ... then i also had environmental chemistry in my paper ... but to my surprise there was no question on biomolecules or chem in everyday life or qualitative analysis ... one on what is horn  silver ...abt 3 on the correct nernst equation ..hardly anything form p d block elements ... 2 related to bond order ... bp of alkanes ...  basic concept ..... hardly any coordination ... frankly the most dissapointing paper of chem i have ever given .. :)

then physics ... there were abt 5-6 on electric field and potential ... very easy stuff .... abt 3-4 on magnetism ... gud ones bt not undoable .. 2 from gravitation , abt 3-4 from shm ... the proper ones but not much to worry abt ... one on superposition , single slit diffraction , and others were on kinematics ... laws of motion .. the usual stuff .. rest was ... i don rem ... :) but overall phy was a satisfying paper ...
maths .... it was long ... time consuming ... and kinda tuff .. not much though... there were throw away questions as well ...
probably the most important worry o the paper ....

but as i said u shud never lose ur calm ... i lost during the maths paper when i saw that i had left so many questions .... but that is history and i dont want u guys to repeat that ...

so as far as my suggestion goes .. frendz read ncert chemistry every chappter especially the biomolecules part even thoguh i din get ne as it most likely was a bad exception ... and do not ignore NETHING that is there in the coloured boxes in the ncert ... YES NETHING >>> EVEN THE STRUCTURES IN BIOMOLECULES AND CHEM IN EVERYDAY LIFE >>> AS though i din get it but my fren go them...AND YES BE THOROUGH WITH COORDINATE , CALCULUS AND TRIGO THE PAPEER WAS FULL OF THEM ALONG WITH GUD QUESTIONS OF  quadratic and progressions ....

and  MOST IMPORTANT MAINTAIN UR CALM ... TH PAPER IS MEANT TO BE SOVLED AND NOT BE GET SCARED OF... NO TENSION .. JUS WORK HARD AND THE RESULTS ARE BOUND TO COME ...
SO WISHING EACH AN EVERYONE OF U THE VERY BEST OF LUK ..!!!!!!

PS  : AS MY MOST IMPORTANT ADVICE , ALTHOUGH I DO NOT HOLD NE RESPONSIBILITY IF THIS ONE GOES WRONG ... IT THOUGH WORKED FOR ME AND MY 3 OTHER FRENDZ ....
WHEN AB 15-20 MINUTES ARE LEFT .... ATTEMPT ALL THE QUESTIONS ... YES INTELLIGENTLY GUESS IF U CAN OR DO IT BLINDLY ... EVEN IF U HAVE ABT 15-20 ... AS THE BONUS QUESTIONS IN THE END WERE DAMNNNNNN EASY ... LITERALLY 36 MARKS FOR FREE .... BUT THE DEC IS UPTO YOU ... I DONT HOLD NE RESP IF THIS ONE BACKFIRES ...!

SO GO THERE AND DO UR BEST ...

ps 2: now for those who thoght that this was not they wanted and marks is much more important ... i got 358 ! and the other frendz i have mentioned ab have secured 365 , 366 and 391!

ps 3 : now this is not necessary but still ...
