a)German silver donot contain silver its an alloy of Cu , Zn , Ni
b)Gunmetal = Lead + tin
c)Solder = Mg + Zn
d)Brass = Cu + Al + Pb
d)Duralumin = Cu + Al + Mn + Mg
e)Amalgam = alloy of mercury wid any metal
P.S. = Mercury doesnt form an alloy wid Fe
f)Stainless steel = Fe + Cr + Ni
e)Electron = alloy of Mg
g)Nichrome = Nickel + Cr + Fe (little bit)

a)Sindhur is Pb3O4
b) desilverization of argenti ferrous lead is done by pattinson's process
c)the highest temp. can b achieved in electric furnace
d)Ag is extracted by complex frmation (cyanide process)
e)Zone refining is used to obtain ultra pure metals
f)The acidic refractory material is SiO2
g)poling is the process of removal of Cu2O frm Cu
h)In refining of Cu , Cu is obtained at cathode
i)The mixture of HCl and HNO3 mixed in 3 : 1 is NOCl
j)Black jack is ZnS
k)Gold is extracted by amalgamation process
l)Na is extracted by electrometallurgy
m)KCN is used fr the seperation of ZnS and PbS in froth flotation process
n)Pentlandite is thorium sulphide and sulphide ores are conc. by froth flotation process
