hie all, i found this1 cool..so p[osting it.....
if u have to find any product e.g 21 X 14 . then how to find it without even using any sort of table.e.g table of 4 or 1..etc..
here is the simple way :-
in above example...firts letter is 2 & 1.. so draw 2 close horizontal lines & 1 single horizontal line at some distance as shown..now the next letters are 1& 4.so draw 1 single vertical line & 4 close vertical line as shown..now just draw 2 curves as shown......now on the upper side count the no. of point of intersection.there it is 2. now on the bottommost right section , point of intersections are 4. now write the no. of points of intersection in the rest section as shown below..here they are (8+1) = 9 .
so product is :- 294...
if a number more than 9 e.g 21 then add first digit(of this number) to the number written on the topmost left corner & then do the same...dats it..
similarily the above result can be generalised to big no.s
