Want to become a champion and develop a winning mindset? Nothing happens until you invoke a change from within. Have you heard the expression, ?we don't see things the way they are, we see things the way we are???? 1. Thinking: The first one is change the way we think. Sounds simple enough but how many people are willing to change. All change requires energy therefore causing us to take action. If we think like we always thought and do like we have always done, we will get what we always have gotten. If we want to become a success, wouldn?t it make sense to read and watch biographies of successful people and learn from them??? . We must program ourselves to think like a winner.
2. Beliefs: The second part in creating the mindset is changing our beliefs. When we are first able to change the way we think, we can only then start to change some of our beliefs. We do not have to radically change our true beliefs especially the ones which we hold dear. However sometimes being a success must mean letting go of all false and preconceived notions of what it takes to reach our goals. Our beliefs are powerful and act almost as a magnet for what we attract in our lives. People will become intrigued not by your beliefs or principles but if you actually practice what you preach. Great leaders who helped shaped this world for the better, all had one common thread. They had a belief in morals and ethics. (Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr. Gandhi, Mother Theresa) This goes back to the simple but powerful phrase, ?Actions speak louder then words.? Changing one?s belief is not easy because we have been conditioned to believe certain rules.
3. Fear of Success: The third part of creating our winning mindset is removing the ceiling.I am referring to the fears and restrictions that we place upon ourselves. We are only born with two fears. One is the fear of heights and the other is loud noise. Those are the only two fears, yet it seems that those fears we overcome rather quickly. Why then do we place other fears and excuses on ourselves???? Do we know that we put limitations on what we can accomplish? Sometimes it is our background in that we are told that we can only expect a certain amount of success out of our lives. An example of this is people who are wealthy. People say, ?Yeah right I can never become wealthy. People who are rich are lucky or cheat their way to the top.? We do not have to accept it as our belief. All too often we let other people?s opinion shape the person we become. Developing the mindset of a winner is crucial in obtaining what it is you set out to do. We often underestimate the power we contain. Winning first starts out as an internal process. We must first have a good relationship with ourselves before we can engage with others. Once we examine who we are and what we want to become, we then can propel our thoughts to action.!!!! Best of luk!!!
