Sometimes i often come across ppl who say that they lack some kind of motivation to excel and do better in their lives....
But for that my friends u need to dream and work towards in achieving ur dreams. I wanted to share with u a story... a story abt the rise of The greatest clubs of all times.....a story which can be aptly called "rags to riches"
Before beginning i wud like to say that i am not a soccer fan.....so pls forgive me if you come across any error in stats,names,location..etc.
Try to focus on the message this article carries....
Let me take you to the 1958 championships.....
It was the 6th of february 1958
Manchester United were looking forward to their BIG match against Munich for the championship title......They were the big favourites among the people.
But Destiny had something else in store for them....
The team was returning from the european championships to England
when their plane crashed after som engine malfunction.
Almost the entire team including the captain perished in the catastrophe. The remaining team and their fans were shattered.There was no one able enough left in the team.Manchester got disqualified from the championship(they won the next game after the crash but lost the following 10),and it would not be wrong in saying ,from world football also....
Was it the end of a glorious empire...........was the life of the club so short.......will it ever come back even in the group of the elite football clubs.....??????? This was the big question in everyones mind.
The team may have died but the dream of BEING THE NUMBER ONE DID NOT.
The team manager at that time(Matt Busby) and members still had in them the zeal and that vigour in coming back to the world front.
The created another team....Manchester United(They were called the Busby Babes before the Crash)..They practiced Practiced Day and night.....day and night right thru.............
The team was adamant in getting to the number one status fast ......
And it did get.......The efforts paid of........Though they never won any title after 1958 for the next 10 yrs...they then won the FA cup in 1968
Now there was no championship which the team did not win...
Manchester United(now popularly known as the RED DEVILS) never saw back...and it kept on conquering title after title and heart by heart....
Whenevr u travel to Old Trafford(aptly called the Mecca of football) , England...Do visit the Manchester United Home ground and have a look at an old clock hanging on the right corner of the stadium.....it will be dated 6th February 1958...12.50 pm....... the clock was stopped that very instant when the news of the crash came......when people thought that it was the END...
So friends stop thinking that" Oh what the shit this studies.." "how will i memorise this reaction".."Oh what a diff sum...just forget it".....
Just think of the team,which was not even without a proper team but later due to their Hard work...and their willingness to succeed..
