Your mind is a “thought factory.” It’s a busy factory, producing countless thoughts in one day. Scientists tried to create the human mind, it required a space equal to the empire state building, and total estimated investment was 450 crore rupees(10 million US dollar) . Total power required for running this brain was equal to power required by a town . wow , you received this big factory known as human mind “free of cost” from god .Production in your thought factory is under the charge of two foremen, one of whom we will call Mr. Positive and the other Mr. Negative. Mr. Positive is in charge of manufacturing positive thoughts. He specializes in producing reasons how you can, how you’re qualified, how you will. Mr. Negative specializes in reasons why you can’t , why circumstances are not allowing you to do it, why you are not qualified and why you will not do it.
Both Mr. Positive and Mr. Negative are obedient. They snap to attention immediately. All you need do to signal either foreman is to give the slightest mental beck-and-call. If the signal is positive, Mr. Positive will step forward and go to work. Likewise, a negative signal brings Mr. Negative forward.
Now the more work you give either of these two foremen, the stronger he becomes. If Mr. Negative is given more work to do, he adds personnel and takes-up more space in your mind. Eventually, he will take over the entire thought-manufacturing division, virtually all thought will be of negative nature.
The only wise thing to do is to fire Mr. Negative. You don’t need him. You don’t want him around telling you that you can’t, you’re not up to it, you’ll fail, and so on. Mr. negative won’t help you get where you want to go, so boot him out.
Use Mr. Positive 100 per cent of the time. When any thought enters your mind, ask Mr. Positive to go to work for you. He’ll show you how you can succeed.
New industries, new scientific breakthroughs, and expanding markets – all spell opportunity. This is good news. This is a most wonderful time to be alive!
One of them is you, a guarantee of personal success and in the boom period ahead, most people will continue to worry, to be afraid, to crawl through life feeling unimportant, unappreciated, not able to do what they want to do. As a result, their performance will earn them petty reward, petty happiness.
Those who convert opportunity into reward (and let me say, I sincerely believe you are one of those, else you’d rely on luck and not bother with this article) will be those wise people who learn how to think themselves to success.
