hidden music in windows[:p]

you know, there is a hidden music in Windows XP that you have never heard..

To hear this sound, first of all go to Folder Options and under the "View" tab, check "Show hidden files and folder" and uncheck "Hide protected system files".

Now navigate to the drive where Windows XP is installed.So if C: is the drive where Windows XP is installed, goto

C:WINDOWSsystem32oobeimages

There you will find a file Title.wma

now u can play this file................

use ur pc as alarm

Now this is specially for the ones who are too lazy to get up even when the trust cellphone dies screeching its lungs out. Its pretty simple Creating the playlist create a playlist of your favourite songs in Winamp, WMP or any other player. Export the playlist as a M3U playlist. M3U is generally accepted by almost every player. Triggering the alarm point to start> programs >accessories > system tools >scheduled tasks Create a new task and choose program as windows media player or winamp (May work with others too but I haven't tried anything else) Choose "daily", Enter the time and choose "every day" at next screen. It would now ask for password (leave blank in case you don't have one) Right click on the newly created task and check the "run only if logged in" check box. In the properties. Append the path to the playlist you created in the "run" text box. It should now look like Code:

Code:

"D:windows mediaplayerwmplayer.exe"K:Playlistssmoothies.m3uthe text inside quotes is my WMP's path. It may vary for you. The text after WMP's path is the one to the playlist. Click OK and you're done.

get background img in ur drive

Open notepad-->paste this:

[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]

iconarea_image=C:WINDOWSWebWallpaperBliss.bmp

iconarea_text=0x00FFFFFF

then save this file as desktop.ini.

NOW save this file in starting of drive -- for eg:C:

give the folder its own drive letter

Say you've got a folder you refer to all the time - like your My Documents or data folder - and you're sick of navigating a deep hierarchy to get to it. The CodeJacked weblog has a solution: assign a drive letter to the folder for quick and easy access.

Pretend that you have a file folder called C:dataword_docs, that you use it constantly, and that you would like to refer to it with a shortcut of W:. Open up a command prompt window and issue the following command:

SUBST w: C:dataword_docs

SUBST is short for substitute. (DOS commands are case-insensitive, so you could enter it as "subst" as well.) So, now, W:intro.doc is the same thing as C:dataword_docsintro.doc -- two different ways to refer to the same file.

Neat, short way to access files in an oft-used folder. But, be warned: when a folder is mapped like this to a drive letter, file deletions bypass the Recycle Bin and are unrecoverable using usual methods.

to delete undeletable file...

Open a Command Prompt window and leave it open. Close all open programs. Click Start, Run and enter TASKMGR.EXE .Go to the Processes tab and End Process on Explorer.exe. Leave Task Manager open. Go back to the Command Prompt window and change to the directory the AVI (or other undeletable file) is located in. At the command prompt type DEL where is the file you wish to delete. Go back to Task Manager, click File, New Task and enter EXPLORER.EXE to restart the GUI shell. Close Task Manager.

Some Google tips:{New ones added}

open www.google.com
1. Type google 133t and press i am feeling lucky button. See what happens
2.Return back to goole.com and type google gothic and press i am feeling lucky. (This is underconstruction and may not work properly)
3.return to google.com and type ggole bsd and again press i am feeling luck.
Amazing????????
4.Return to google.com and type ggole linux and press I am felling lucky button.
At last in your address bar type www.googleloco.com and see google dance......
