So I start playing with words….
Jumbling with letters
Pushing one in
Popping one out
(All computer terms, never mind)
Beginners luck!!!
As they say, you start with something

All giving you the feeling
You are starting a journey…
So I continue….
For some time,
Blood continues to boil…

It seems all interesting
The world, as if calling
Come, unlock my secrets!
I pay heed….
So comes the next few words

But then, a sudden bitterness
Some not so interesting words
Rather disappointing to get
In a scrabbles game…..

So I ask myself

What is going on?
Why this sudden thorniness?

But I have already started the game!
How can I stop?
My heart shakes at the sight of the words…
Still, I continue….
So came the next set of torture

I was starting to hate the game…
Felt like quitting….
Dunno why I went on…

Occupies my mind entirely…
I’m unable…. Unable to play the game…
But just before I close the board
I thought
Anyways I am losing the game…
Let’s make the game remember
That I am the worst loser ever
To have played scrabbles…
So I clench my teeth
Closing my eyes and then
Wiping away the tears….
I ‘play’ the ‘game’…
And immediately get
A powerful word
Determination….
A single one…
Enough to jumpstart the engine
That’s been rusty for long…
I get words like
Strive
I work and get ‘hard’
Reminds me of hard work….
I have nothing to lose anymore…
So I get words like
Slog
Plod
Trudge
Keeping my nose to the grindstone….
I work and work with words
I play with words…
Words become my life…..
I am still playing…
Working to reach my destination
Playing to get these words-
